Me? A Versatile Blogger?

Thanks so much to Christina of a Bibliophile's Thoughts on Books , who nominated me for a Versatile Blogger Award. Thanks, Christina! I'm honored that you chose me :)

I now need to nominate other bloggers, and reveal seven random things about me.

I love all my blogger friends and don't want to play favorites, so I decided that I would pick some blogs I've recently discovered.

Check them out!

Bookworm Blogger
Charlotte lives in England and re-reads her books. She and I need to be friends.

Midnight Book Thief
Tina and Jen R's blog design is one of my favorites. I love the way they structures their reviews: the good, the bad and the awesome!

Born Bookish
Amanda wants to design book covers. So do I! In my dreams, that is. If only I were more artistic.

Flyleaf Review
Heather is a new blogger (like me) and I'm a big fan of her blog!

My Enchanted Bookshelf
I love Laura's reviews and she and I seem to read all the same books!

Now to me. Seven random facts. Hmmmm....

1. I can read and write upside down.
2. No matter how hard I try, I can't whistle.
3. I hate bananas. And zombies.
4. I have four double-jointed fingers.
5. When my hamster died, I paid to have him cremated.
6. I've played the clarinet since I was nine.
7. I recently beat out a whole room of people playing "Two Truths and a Lie."

Which one of these seven facts do you think is a lie?

  1. LOL so many things about you that I did not know so I am not the least bit surprised that you beat the room at Two Truths and a Lie. :)

    1. Well, one of those seven things is a lie. Maybe it's number 7 and I'm a terrible liar. Hmm....

  2. Awesome post! I can't whistle either, and I can also read and write upside down. (and with both hands) I played clarinet starting in 4th grade, but haven't played in a long time. :)

  3. Nope! I really can read and write upside down. It is a completely useless talent, as far as I can tell...

  4. Yay! Lol I loved reading the facts about you. I can't whistle. Or blow a bubble (from bubble gum). Or roll my tongue. Or cross my eyes. I don't have any cool physical traits.

  5. Aww! You are too kind! I really enjoy your blog as well...and im thinking #5 is a lie? Maybe? Ish? Lol

  6. Nope. Number 5 is 100% true.
Anaavu -- I can't roll my tongue either. The rest of my family can :(

  7. Jen, thank you so much for the nomination and congrats to you! Hey,I can't whistle either!! Maybe it's a book blogger thing?:)I would say #5 sounds the least likely, though I had a few hamsters back in my day and if I'd had the money, I probably would've had them cremated, so maybe it is true!

  9. Okay then I am going to guess that you are not a banana or zombie hater? :)

    1. Had to redo this comment. Stupid autofill is always making me say weird stuff.

I don't like bananas. The texture of them. But I do love banana bread. My mom's is the best!

  12. Cool, thanks for thinking of me! :D And congrats on getting the award as well! Okay, off to do my post...

But wait, I think fifth one is a lie. It sounds... farfetched. ;) Then again, it could be true. Hmm... OOH! It could be that you're lying about the fact that you lied and you didn't lie at all! Wait- did that even make sense? :P

  13. Okay, you guys have all been great sports....

The lie is #6. I don't play the clarinet or any other musical instrument. I wish that I did!

    Everything else is true.
