Reviews of:

Through the Ever Night by Veronica Rossi
Find out why I thought this broke the dreaded dreaded middle-book-in-a-trilogy mold...

Then You Were Gone by Lauren Strasnick
I expected a mystery, and got something completely different!

The Tragedy Paper by Elizabeth Laban
An unusual main character and boarding school setting set this contemporary apart.

Uses for Boys by Erica Lorraine Scheidt
Was this gritty contemporary a hit or a miss for me?

New Books -- yay!

So I was in the right place at the right time on Twitter  -- which never happens to me--

and I snagged a copy of Dear Cassie by Lisa Burstein. Yay!  I loved Pretty Amy, the companion book to this one. Huge thanks to Heather from Entangled Publishing! I can't wait to read this.

Then, my blogger friend Heather of Flyleaf Review sent me this. Thanks so much!  I have never read a book about golf and ... hey, I'm ready to try one.

Then, mysterious supernatural forces have been sending me my Waiting on Wednesday books. Here's another one -- Strands of Bronze and Gold. Thanks to Random House for letting me read this retelling of Bluebeard.

Finally, I was excited to get approved for Rules: Paper Doll Project by Stacey Kade. Thanks to Disney-Hyperion!

How was your week? Let me know in comments and if you leave me a link, I'll check it out!

  1. I'm really excited for Strands of Bronze and Gold so I am going to be on the lookout for your review! I JUST added Pretty Amy to my TBR. I forgot I read the synopsis this week for the first time and thought it sounded really good. :)

  3. You know I've only read 7 books so far this year, but they've all been good, and a couple have been really good-could-be-2013-all-time-favorites. I FINALLY read and finished Scorpio Races, and loved it. And I'm listening to Amber House on audio and it's wonderfully spooky!
