Extra! Extra! is my weekly post featuring any and all exciting blog news.

I'm linking up to Sunday Post hosted by the lovely Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer

Happy Sunday!

I've been feeling behind in my reading and have been scrambling to catch up. How can it be March already?

New books this week:

Let The Sky Fall by Shannon Messenger
Unremembered by Jessica Brody

Both of these will be giveaway choices in Hot Off the Presses next week -- so be sure to stop by!

Giveaways you can enter RIGHT NOW:

Over at this week's Freebie Friday we've been discussing whether size matters. Book size, of course! Come weigh in and win your choice from a stack of ARCs and finished copies.

My Requiem giveaway ends tonight at midnight. If you live in the US and are curious about that ending everyone is talking about, enter here!

Hot Off the Presses also gives you the chance to win your choice from some great new releases and link up your reviews -- open internationally!

Reviews you might have missed:

Reqiuem -- what was my take on the end to this trilogy?

The Madness Underneath -- some readers felt that this book succumbed to the dreaded MBS (Middle Book Syndrome) -- what was my take?

Eleanor and Park -- did this 80s tale of love between two high school misfits win my heart?

Dear Cassie -- this companion book to Pretty Amy features a bad girl sent to rehab and she says no, no, no -- have a look at my review!

What's Up For Next Week?

Reviews of Poison by Bridget Zinn, Trinkets by Kirsten Smith and  -- if I can keep my nose to the grindstone -- maybe also MILA 2.0 by Debra Driza OR Strands of Bronze and Gold by Jane Nickerson OR Deep Betrayal by Anne Greenwood Brown.

Or maybe I'll just be a slacker…. stay tuned and find out…

What have you been up to? What are your plans for the week? Let me know in comments!

  1. Gosh I'm getting behind on my reviews, still haven't finished partials never mind fragments and have got poison and mila 2.0 and something else to read this week too! Oh well, must just keep going!

  2. Poison and Strands of Gold are both on my birthday list along with a lot of other books.

I was in the middle of reading Beautiful Creatures then my live-brary loan expired...I love being able to borrow kindle books but sometimes it's a pain. If you don't have the time to read it right away, it ends up expiring. Now I'm deciding whether to finish reading it or not. I was about 1/2 through.

    1. LOVE your photo -- pretty!
Yes I hate kindle borrowing -- so stressful. I prefer audio borrowing, because once you download them they don't expire.

  3. *snorts* Jen you're no slacker!

I'm totally blown away that March is here already too. What happened to February?

  4. I haven't been reading much this week either. Just been kind of out of the mood and nothing I'm reading is really catching my attention. I've got tons of new books though! But I hate leaving something only half read because then I usually never go back to it.

  5. Let the Sky Fall! I've been really excited for that one. Hopefully I can pick up a copy and find time to read it soon. And I'm reading Unremembered next, after I finish The Collector which hopefully can be done today.

You are the exact oppostie of a slacker! Take a break if you need one. :)

  6. I'm hoping to get through Poison today and then start on Strands of Bronze and Gold so I hope you check that one out. I also had a bunch of library books come in so I need to get on those!

I can't believe it's already March-the first two months of the year went by way too fast! I also really need to pick up my reading pace to get back on track for my year total.

  7. You, a slacker? Pshaw. :P You always put me to shame. I'm hoping to get to Poison this week, too, but there are so many other books calling my name.
